Colin Dale is a great tattoo artist from Denmark and he will be opening a new shop called Skin & Bone early next year, 2010. I am personally exited for it, because I plan on visiting him some time. Anyone else here dig what Colin, all the other black work artist, do? To me, it is really cool and heart warming when you have artists who dedicate their life for studying different cultures and then keeping those cultures alive, via tattooing. well, any dedication in these days is cool!) Colin is one of those people. When I think about it, in these days when everything is new and sparkly, people like Colin upholds that tribal spirit, and that makes it even more cooler. There is a certain spirit, Spirit that I can feel, even if I am a atheist. Its the aura and the strength of the designs that I like. Simple stuff, but still captivating. I'm positive his new shop will be amazing! Here is what Colin has to say about it

I'd like to officially announce the opening of my new shop, "Skin & Bone" which will be open from the first of January 2010. "Skin & Bone" will be combination gallery and studio. The gallery will exhibit art and ethnographic handcrafts related to tattooing, while the studio will have me tattooing alongside various guest artists throughout the year.
Through my years of travelling and tattooing around the world I've met and worked with a wide range of tattoo artists and experts working in ethnographic and other specialized styles. Amongst these we hope to have hand tattooists from Borneo, Polynesia and Japan as well as some of the worlds leading artists in Blackwork and Dotwork coming to visit.
