Jun is great.

And actually, Miami Ink (Love and Hate Tattoo) is a good suggestion. Chris Garver would be a great choice. Really underated artists. Great tattooer. Might be that the extra hype has died down because in their website (www.lovehatetattoos.com) they announce We currently are doing walk-ins only. Walk-ins are first-come, first-served daily. So it might be a good thing to go check it out. Ami James is also very good, as is James Hamilton

Really I never looked at Garver as underated well I live in miami so everyone around here knows who he is. They have great artist at love hate but they charge an arm and a leg because of the whole Miami Ink show. Federico Ferroni is another great artist in Miami Beach he's a great all around artist http://www.southbeachtattoo.com/html/federico/federcof.html. Also Troy Lane and Jeff from AAA Tattoo are very good aswell http://www.myspace.com/aaatattooing.

I hear they charge around 200 maybe 300 per hour. Im not 100% sure though.

Anyone know what Chris Garver is charging per hour? I've been trying to figure that one out to see how much I'd need to save. By the way, while Love Hate Tattoos says walk-ins only, Chris Garver and Darren Brass are still taking appointments (with Chris, supposedly you'll be put on a wait list). See the link:

I just came back from Miami and had a great tattoo from Ferderico Ferrino he is great.
While there a guy from the Uk came in and had a tattoo priced in (Love Hate) about the size of an apple on his arm and they were looking for $600 which he was going mad about said they were ripping people off.

I don,t know but I was very happy with Federico.

Dam sucks for that guy but yea man Ferderico's really good I think he got 2nd place for both japanese and back peice category at the Miami Tattoo convention.

How much does he charge an hour?

He charged me for the piece and did it in 1 sitting over 8 hours.
Bout $170 an hour.

pluggin yeah im still im south america, well i mean right now im in miami i took a two week vacations but yeah im planning to go and get tattooed in brazil in june/july ill try to get in touch with jun.. wow, so basically tattoos in miami are expensive as fuck cakes.. i got my geisha line out from walter de souza who works at paraguay for something like $70.. http://www.fotolog.com/tattoocapataz/ thats his page if anyone wants to check it out

Na Its certain places in Miami where they charge alot. My artist doesnt charge an arm and a leg and his work is pretty nice. AAA Tattoo http://www.myspace.com/aaatattooing. Theres only 2 artist Jeff and Troy. Troys colors are amazing and his prices are pretty good and same for Jeff he did my whole back for 1,600 and that took about 11 sessions.

thanks for the AAA info.. i think im getting my first miami tattoo there.. and yeah as soon as i get back to paraguay im getting in contact with jun, i love blackwork and from what i saw, damn.. thats something i gotta get! im willing to pay a lot of money for a jun piece cause i see amazing shit and heard amazing shit from my tattooer also so, its just a matter of time haha!
