help! I need ideas for a pet tattoo!

Is there anything you particularly associate with him? For instance my dog loves the beach & chasing tennis balls, so if I was going to do something for her it would be around those. Or you could just try to figure out what his idea of a fabulous tattoo would be - fat & slow mice?!? ;)

For some reason I keep thinking about William Blake's "The Tyger" - could tie in nicely with your text? His art is also quite stunning.

Thanks for all your help! I'm sorry it took so long for me to reply, I was in the middle of mid-terms when I wrote this and then I did some travelling for reading week so I haven't had a chance.
I did read your responses as they came in though and they've given me some pretty great ideas.
Sarah - I like both of your ideas! when my parents started talking about options for putting him down I decided that I wanted to get him cremated and put 1/2 the ashes in a heart shaped locket (kind of like an urn) so I would always have a piece of him with me (although I probably wouldn't wear the locket). So I was thinking maybe get a locket with his name on it or a cat paw print intertwined with the writing on my ribs (another great idea Sarah!) this way I'm not taking up any new valuable realestate so to speak.

I appreciate any opinions! What do you think about getting two tattoos intertwined that don't have anything to do with one another? and also do you think I should add more to the rib tattoo or is it nice enough on its own? I always felt like it should be longer or it could be better but i'm not quite convinced that i really want to change it. I've always wanted just one exceptional masterpiece, maybe i could make this it!
