I had my second sitting, which lasted 4.5 hrs. The majority of the work was outlining and shading the outside of my forearm, with the sleeve extending about 2 in. above my wrist. Lotus' were added to my outside forearm and shoulder, right above the koi. I'm really happy with how my forearm is turning out, however I hate the the feeling of unfinished work. There's a huge gap on the inside of my forearm, with no outline yet....I'm used to seeing large pieces progress through stages, as if there is a said standard format. I also had high expectations for this session, expecting all of the outline and most of the shading finished, when in fact it will take another full session to complete that work, before moving onto color. With that being said, for 8hrs of work, Aaron has completed quite a bit. As it is the day after, swelling and some edema are noticeable but should reduce within the next few days. I will have plenty of time to recover as my 3rd session will not be until the beginning of September.... ahhh!!! such a long wait!!! I won't be counting down the days like I have been doing, so hopefully it will fly by much quicker. Pictures will be up soon.
