Cool, glad to hear the bike's sorted! Yeah, it's been pretty snowy here for the last few days. Unusual for Edinburgh, usually get a couple days at most.
Cheers for the comment! Well, not the one about my ropey pics! :-) Yeah, always meant to get some professional pics taken, kinda hard taking pics of yourself!
How's the bike? You getting to use it in this weather?
I've got a trible on my upperback as well. I'm gonna try and make it blend in with the rest as good as possible. It's kinda in a V-shape, so below the top extensions of the V-shape I'm gonna put two fu-lions to fill my upper back.
For the lower back I'm currently looking into Horiyoshi's Suikoden sketches to get inspired. But as I said, I have to wait over a year and that's plenty of time to change my mind ;-)
Shit, sorry to hear about your bike. Where did you park it? Is it just cosmetic damage to the fairings, or could you not ride it home? I had my bike nicked and vandalised a couple years ago, feckin little shites.
Just OK?! I thought it was pretty cool. Yeah, I was there all 3 days, but turned up later and later each day. My artist was there so was good to meet up and chat without him tattooing me! :-)
Now that you mention Kuniyoshi, I do seem to recall seeing another similarly inspired back piece elsewhere -- but yours is much better than the one I saw (I think the version that your artist is rendering is more visually pleasing than the original. Who/where is your artist (he/she is quite talented)?
