Delta sucks
Dan and I are supposed to be back in Belgium Tuesday, but because Needled is relaunching with a new look in a couple of weeks, I've been asked to extend my stay to work on the details in person instead of online.
No sweat, just pay the $200 penalty fee to delay my trip a week, but nooooo, Delta is now charging me over $650 dollars for the change because I would've stayed in NY over a month. The Needled parent company will pay for it but it's still disgusting.
I've had it. I use Delta to travel back and forth between Belgium and NYC, to go to international tattoo conventions and for my vacations -- and every time they screw me in some way, whether it be delays, ancient aircraft, tired and cranky staff, fees every time you sneeze. I'm like a battered woman but I stay not for love but because i have miles and elite membership. I dont feel very elite.
Well, I've had it. The flight to NY was such a disaster and now these fees just became the last straw. From now on it's continental or virgin atlantic -- companies that may be a bit more expensive in ticket price at times but in the end end up worth it because they play fair and take care of their passengers in my experience.
Goodbye, Smelta.
