Do you have a tattoo plan or What is your next tattoo?

I thought I'd see what the group thinks, do you have a master plan or do you get what you feel in the moment? For me when it comes to tattooing I have planned like crazy because I want a full suit that looks uniform but it turns out over time I have reserved my lower left leg for those once in a lifetime or stand alone single idea tattoos. So there went the plan :)

My next tattoo will compliment the skull, roses, and dagger on the outside of my right leg. It will be on the inside of my right leg and have a large gothic style crow and a creepy severed head of my girlfriends likeness. The crow will be holding one of her necklaces in its mouth. It should be just awesome and I can't wait.

Tell me yours.... Some shading? A new piece? Continuation of a theme?

Permalink Reply by Resident Leg Humper on June 24, 2008 at 11:54am: I kind of got double duty going on for my next piece because on monday I start either the outlining, or pieces of my first sleeve (it's got a war/army theme) and that will be with the owner of the shop I go to, but later that day or maybe Tuesday, depends when his assistant ahs openings, I'm going to have him start my side panel. Two projects at once should be kind of cool, I don't know becasue I've never did it before, but I'll giver it hell and see what happens!; ▶ Reply to This

I'm also getting a back piece of the African Goddess Oya. Oya is the goddess of the Niger River. She is the goddess of wind, lighting, fire. Oya is also the creator of hurricanes and tornadoes and guards the underworld. Pretty much she dope as hell.; ▶ Reply to This

Next project would be on my left arm, it would be a half sleeve but only Black n Grey (portraits of people I love and like), such as my Wife, my future Child, Mom and Dad and JC for sure.
I'm thinking for a back piece but it's hard for me to apply the ointment by myself. LOL; ▶ Reply to This

Permalink Reply by Michelle on July 4, 2008 at 1:07pm: I have three in mind, they all need to be a little more fully-developed though (1) a half-sleeve of an owl with either a book or scroll or quill, maybe the moon in the background? (2) a half-sleeve of the four seasons, with perhaps a sugar skull (3) two adult hummingbirds and a nest with a baby hummingbird--it's from a children's book. Of course I have to wait awhile to get these, it's my husband's turn right now : ) Hopefully, I can get the owl one done next Fall after my prospectus defense--that would be a nice reward! The session after that, coverup on my upper left arm. Thinking Spiral Hill and Jack Skellington.

Reasons for the coverups: The same "artist" did them. Found out shortly after, that he was going blind and that would explain why both are fucked up. I was very disappointed, I had heard good things about him and seen lots of his work that wasn't shoddy. Lesson learned.

I'd like to get my wings finished eventually, but the woman who started them is M.I.A. Can't seem to find her anywhere. I'd like her to finish them as she started them, but alas, I may have to ask my artist now.

Late September, Bryan and I are getting our wedding rings done. We're debating: Claddagh or something Hallowe'en-ish. He's Irish, I love Ireland and all things Irish.

I'd like to get something meaningful in Sanskrit too.; ▶ Reply to This

Yes, I am a teacher and a mother, but I love me some World of Warcraft (goes over well with my students!). I will eventually get the priest symbol (awesome staff with wings and sacred candles) somewhere on my body. If I marry the man I'm with now,--I hope I do!--I will get the warlock symbol also; that's his toon. I guess adults have various ways to unwind after a long day, and WoW is ours.:-); ▶ Reply to This

When Michelle was in for one of her sessions, she ran into someone getting her first tattoo -- a Horde banner.

My bf is on that server too with his 70 undead warlock. He's so leet! He's with Calamitous Intent (I think that's his guild.) in Sunwell, BT, and Hyjil right now. His gear is just awesome. I didn't get past a couple bosses in SSC and the Eye before I stopped raiding. It just took up too much of my time.

It was fun for my daughter to afk battlegrounds for me though. lol She'd run around in the cave in AV until the last patch.:-p; ▶ Reply to This
