I am planning on getting a Day of the dead skull tattoo a bit bigger than fist size. I was thinking on my lower back but i'm not sure. I want it to be surrounded by flowers. Where are some good places to get it where it would sit well and not become to distorted with age?
eh...some people say yes, i say no. the most uncomfortable part for me was laying on my side--it hurt my hip and my wrist from resting my head on my hand. i mean, any tattoo hurts, but i didnt think it was that bad.
I agree with sarah, ribs are a little over rated. Hips & other areas hurt much worse, best part is we're chicks...we can take the pain better then the blokes :0
A simple suga skull would look better elsewhere, but a day of the dead piece, .....would look fresh to death on the ribs!
I didn't figure you did, it would be nice to see the end product somehow though! If I ever get my mid section to look like hers I would actually consider a side piece.
No matter what a tattoo hurts if its on the arms, ribs, or back its something stabbing you over and over and over so for those who say " oh no the ribs dont hurt " shhhhhhhhhhh becuase they do.
Now if you were looking for a nice prime spot i would say your shoulder especially if its a day of the dead skull because those fit perfect there and if you want you can add on for later references. Oh and get it bigger than a fist youll get way more detail.
