Where should i get my skull tattoo?

I am planning on getting a Day of the dead skull tattoo a bit bigger than fist size. I was thinking on my lower back but i'm not sure. I want it to be surrounded by flowers. Where are some good places to get it where it would sit well and not become to distorted with age?

BIG & up the side of the ribs! Ribs are prime real estate, & your idea would be great there!

p.s. i'm a lil' biased as i am working on a similar piece there...........

eh...some people say yes, i say no. the most uncomfortable part for me was laying on my side--it hurt my hip and my wrist from resting my head on my hand. i mean, any tattoo hurts, but i didnt think it was that bad.

I spent 3 days in a row for a total of 8 hours on my ribcage and it wasn't that bad...honestly!

Rib Tattoo's hurt, think of it it as a mix between being cut and being burned.

Day of the dead skull bigger than a fist, the ribs deserve something long to utilize that unbroken space between the underarm and the hip.

Forearm, back of arm, base of back (your original idea) are all good, or if you want to really go there get it on the but cheek.

I say right under your neck Babe! And yeah, go a little bigger!

I agree with sarah, ribs are a little over rated. Hips & other areas hurt much worse, best part is we're chicks...we can take the pain better then the blokes :0

A simple suga skull would look better elsewhere, but a day of the dead piece, .....would look fresh to death on the ribs!

I agree with MACDIESEL. Save the Ribs for an entire piece. It looks so much better when the side is a complete concept rather then a collection of trinkets.

Like this one.....

I'm in agreeance with you GDIT...a piece is the way to go and for the few minutes they were oin my hip bone, it was definitely the worst of it!
