I've been curious, being a female, of the outcome of getting tattoos on the stomach/hip/lower abdominal areas because of the concern that the changes childbirth incurs will cause the art to 'go all wonky.' I was wondering if there were any women here that could attest to this, and give me words of advice or experience? Thank you.

great topic, having had 2 kiddies and knowing I have a great appetite I stayed away from the tummy hip area to do any artwork. As far as stretch marks I have none there but the flap jacks def. have some on the sides. I guess it really depends on the size deatail of your work. Are you planning to have a tattoo done in this area?
i've seen good tattoos get right back into shape but the mothers were hypervigilant in putting cream on every day, and they were also young -- in their twenties -- so their bodies bounced back to good shape, even beyond the tattoo.
I'm just working on my stomach/rib tattoo design now with Dan and while I dont plan on having any kids (and cant anyway), I am worried about my tummy loosening up over the years -- thus, I told him to "go bold" so that details dont end up lost in rolls. ;) Seriously, we are considering how the tattoo can enhance the shape of my body to elongate the torso, etc. All these things aren't just vanity but help keep the tattoo on your bod looking good over the years.
i said a hip hop, the hippie the hippie to the hip hip hop, a you dont stop the rock it, to the bang bang boogie, say up jumped the boogie to the rhythm of the boogie, the beat...
haha, sorry..i couldnt resist.
