Dave Bruehl will be back in town doing touch-ups and finishing up clients and I got the last spot! *dances* my birdies healed up very well for the most part but I lost a good chunk of black on the right one that I need fixed. I was despairing since I didn't want anybody but the original artist to do it, and now I'm in luck!

Hurrah for AC

Living in Florida, AC is a must. I've had no AC at my office for a month now. My server room is cold fortunately, but I've been forbidden to move into there for the duration since there's no phone jack. So..it's been a month of me, in a windowless office above a noisy warehouse floor, with an even noisier fan.

The AC company just called and said they'll be out tomorrow with the offending part that was on back order. GLORY BE!

On restaurants and cooking at home

Lately I really have determined that I don't ever want to go back to establishments such as Chili's, Friday's, Ruby Tuesday's, etc. The food is mediocre on a good day and the price is horrendous for what you get. I'm done. My sweetness Josh and I have been inviting friends over every couple of weeks for a good steak grilling day. It varies what we serve, sometimes I cook dessert, sometimes I bend and buy some prepared pastries from Fresh Market.
