Please describe your bodyart:: i have a Celtic tree-of-life on my lower back; and a Celtic zoomorphic (2 intertwined dogs) from the Book of Kells, on my stomach. My sister and I are getting matching tattoos (Celtic) in September, but I already had one planned that I may get in August - an intertwined Celtic dog down my left ribcage.

About Me:: my passion is Celtic - particularly music and art. i played fiddle until i graduated from college, then kinda fell out of it, but i'm slowly getting back into art and music. other than that, i'm a bookworm (love Harry Potter! and British mystery novels), and love gardening.

Describe your profession:: i am an assistant project manager in the dermatology group of a medical education/communications company. i also work on a farm, and am a pet-sitter and artist on the side. no one that i work with (in any of my jobs) has any clue that innocent-little-me has tattoos.

At 9:38am on July 19th, 2007, Judy said…: Your "garden" sounds great!! I had something similar when I moved out of my parents house. I had a 550sq ft apt and about 60 plants (it was a little crowded in winter!)
We live outside of Austin, our lot is actually a pretty good size (75' x 230') so I have a long side-yard garden (12'x45') where I have raised beds with spinach, peppers, broccoli, cucumbers, and tomatoes, and a few rose bushes. I have a ton of fruit on my patio-sized lemon and orange trees too! In the back yard we have a pool (for the kids) with my butterfly garden around it, I have poppies, lantana, mexican sage, and yellow bells esparanza there, as well as a couple of lady banks roses that spread all over the fence this last spring and looked great. In the trees I have some vandas (orchids) hanging that are all in bloom now (we've been getting tons of rain and they love it) and some other hanging baskets and things on the fence. I'll try and find some photos for you as well :)

I'm a gardener too! Since about age 9. Mostly I'm into orchids and butterfly gardening (duh, see photo ;) Whereabouts are you and what do you grow??
