- Please describe your bodyart:
- I have a tiger half-sleeve on my right arm by Jesse Tuesday of Temple Tattoo in Oakland. On my left arm I have a Sarasvati half-sleeve also by Jesse. On the last Friday the 13th I got a small skull and crossbones on my ankle with a 13 on it for $13 from Tattoo 13 in Oakland. I also have a gypsy girl on my calf by Henry Lewis.

- About Me:
- I love kids, cooking, sports, and yoga. I have always loved art and I majored in Art History in college. I'm not sure how that turned into Special Education exactly, but I am really passionate about working with kids with disabilities. I am also working on a Masters in Educational Psychology. I try to see as much live music as possible.
- Describe your profession:
- I am a Special Education teacher. I teach students with moderate to severe disabilities in the general education classroom (Kindergarten through 5th grades). I have my own small classroom where I work with students individually or in small groups, or where they can come to 'cool off' or have fun. I am the behavior specialist for my school, so I get called whenever a kid is having a hard time, i.e. fighting, throwing chairs, running away, etc. I write positive behavior support plans, adapt and modify the general education curriculum so it is accessible to my students, assess students, and write a lot of reports to present at a lot of meetings with other service providers and parents.
